Hello. I am a research associate at Imperial College London, and visiting lecturer at IFP Energies Nouvelles in Paris. My research focus is on environmental modelling, particularly on the global dynamics of energy, carbon and land use. Before moving to London, I worked for several years at the Brazilian Government, particularly as Director of the Bioenergy Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, and as UNDP Consultant for Energy and Climate Change to the Ministry of the Environment. My main interests are international development, land use change, bioenergy, food security, climate change, biogeochemical cycles, and system dynamics.
